7 DECADES OF INNOVATION
Our organization was founded by Albin Norling and Albert Huisinga in 1945 with the notion that they could do things better themselves in turkey growing and processing. This became a theme for the next 75 years and has brought us to where we are today: a family of companies with 1,600 employees, the Norling and Huisinga families still involved, and a rich history of stewardship and innovation. OUR FAMILY OF COMPANIES
Each of the companies in our organization have stemmed from
a need in our core business: turkeys. Through research and development
with our founding company, Willmar Poultry Company, whenever a new
opportunity proved marketable, the division that discovered that
opportunity often branched off and became its own company. Our family of
