Responsibilities for this Role Include:

  • General grounds care in and around the facility: lawn care (mowing, spraying weeds)
  • Feeding, watering, bedding changes, washing cages for research animals
  • Housekeeping responsibilities such as mopping floors and laundry
  • Grounds work such as painting, gathering shavings, hay, and straw for animal bedding

  • Providing quotes to new customers and obtaining customer information for account set up.

Epitopix Manufacturing, specializing in patented animal vaccines in the poultry, dairy, and swine industries, is seeking a full-time Logistics Technician | Inventory Control.  This role will work under the direct supervision of a logistics manager and support the department in daily logistics related tasks.  The purpose of this position is to control and track the use of materials for the production of animal vaccines until ready to ship as final products.

Responsibilities for this Role:

  • Working under limited supervision and supporting the logistics department in daily logistics related tasks and special projects.
  • Using ERP (Microsoft Dynamics is our current system) and MS Excel, along with proper documentation methods to maintain, organize, count, and track inventory and maintain production orders.
  • Generating orders for the manufacturing of custom products.
  • Working with manufacturing to maintain the accuracy of production order documentation.
  • Requesting manufacturing directions from the quality assurance department for each production order.
  • Assembling production packets for use by production personnel.
  • Communications with Customer Service to ensure final product is available in the ERP system and available to ship.
  • Accurately entering and posting completed manufacturing orders.
  • Researching and reconciling inventory discrepancies with manufacturing technicians, as well as reconciling and adjusting end of lot raw materials.
  • Monitoring schedules using Microsoft outlook calendars.
  • Monitoring expiration dates of shelf life items.
  • Printing, formatting, and maintaining various reports utilizing Microsoft Excel.
  • Monitoring on-hand inventory in order to maintain appropriate inventory levels, completing cycle counts and year-end inventory.

  • Receiving of shipments of supplies and raw materials in the warehouse.
  • Entry of material into the ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics is our current system)
  • Regular deliveries of material to the manufacturing area for use in production
  • Transferring material inside the ERP system as it moves into manufacturing
  • Creation of QA packets for all raw materials received and assisting QA as needed for release of those materials

Maintenance Technician

Hourly Schedule: Full-Time Job Description & Apply Now

Epitopix Manufacturing, specializing in patented vaccine development in the poultry, dairy, and swine industries, is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician, responsible for supporting vaccine manufacturing operations through routine maintenance and repair of equipment and the overall facility. This position reports to the Maintenance and Engineering Manager, and interacts with internal departmental employees within logistics, quality assurance/control, research and development and manufacturing.

Responsibilities for this Role Include:

  • Operating, maintaining, and repairing facility and process equipment (e.g. reverse osmosis water system, recirculating chiller, high pressure steam boiler, incubators, pumps, valves and centrifuges).
  • Assisting with the installation, operation and validation of new equipment and the revalidation of repaired or modified equipment.
  • Working under minimal supervision, performing general facility and grounds maintenance (e.g. sweeping, snow removal, sheetrock patching, and painting)
  • Accurately documenting all work using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Providing any feedback to the supervisor or project team leader in a timely fashion.
  • Working with service vendors such as electricians, plumbers, HVAC&R and OEM service reps as necessary. Contacting vendors for parts, when necessary.
  • Assisting with spare parts inventory audits.
  • Assisting with standard operating procedure (SOP) updates, creating new SOPs as necessary.
  • Performing additional team functions incidental to maintenance activities to assist production personnel, including heavy or large portable equipment relocation, facility and equipment cleaning, raw material retrieval from warehousing or work at the R&D facility.
  • Responding to the Epitopix equipment alarm system, which may include afterhours equipment maintenance or emergency product relocation.
  • Assisting with the management of a proactive maintenance program to minimize reactive maintenance and equipment downtime.

Education, Experience, and Qualities We Seek:

  • High School degree/diploma required. Associates Degree or higher level education preferred.
  • Must have demonstrated mechanical expertise or aptitude
  • Previous experience in a maintenance/facilities role with instrumentation, rotating equipment, pressurized equipment, and high-pressure steam is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated strengths in problem solving and prioritizing
  • Confidence to work and make decisions independently and to be self-directed
  • Willingness to work in a regulated, quality-driven environment
  • Ability to adapt and react positively to changes and interruptions in the daily routine

Responsibilities for this Role Include:

  • Operation of production fermenters and associated control systems and oversight of fermentation processes.
  • Disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of fermentation equipment.
  • Maintenance of records associated with fermentation processes. Records are kept manually
  • Preparation of liquid media used during fermentation processes
  • Maintains cleanliness of departments for sterility assurance process and procedures.
  • Will work independently and as part of small teams during processes.  Will assist with other duties as assigned. Completes assigned tasks in a timely manner and maintains continuity in work flow.

JOB OBJECTIVE STATEMENT

The primary objective of the Inventory Clerk is to provide materials to designated locations as scheduled and/or requested through the Inventory Supervisor. A second objective is to ensure NTE’s inventory is highly accurate.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive shipments from suppliers. Unpack, ensure shipment matches purchase order and log into the NTE inventory computer system.
  • Places materials in appropriate locations (Stock Shelves, Lifts, etc)
  • Create kits for production orders
  • Replenish Kan-Ban Bins
  • Fills Parts Requests orders
  • Compiles and maintains records of quantity, and type, of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked in establishment: Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts totals to inventory records, manually or using computer.
  • Creates and posts movement and transfer journals (ex: for Kan Bans, Parts Requests)
  • Assist with periodic Inventory Cycle Counting (to ensure accuracy of the inventory)
  • Notify Inventory Supervisor of discovered inaccuracies
  • Follow all NTE policies, procedures and applicable laws
  • Work overtime as requested by supervisor
  • Recognize and comply with all safety rules. Hearing and Eye protection will be worn when required.
  • Promote continual improvement culture
  • Other duties as assigned
